Clinton, McCain Lead Pack in Iowa, New Hampshire

A Feb. 3 American Research Group poll of likely primary voters in Iowa and New Hampshire shows three of the four top vote getters on each side of the ticket also hold spots on the WARNING LABELS ON POLITICIANS roster.

DEMOCRATSNew York Sen. Hillary Clinton garnered 39 percent of the vote, outdistancing her nearest rival, “Undecided,” who finished with 21 percent. Illinois Sen. Barack Obama finished third with 19 percent, followed by former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards with 13.

REPUBLICANS — Arizona Sen. John McCain collected 27 percent of the vote and finished seven points ahead of two candidates — former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney — who tied for second place with 20 percent of the vote. “Undecided” came in third with 15 percent, just edging out former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich who has yet to declare his candidacy.
