Watch out, North Dakota! The WARNING LABELS ON POLITICIANS campaign is coming your way one week from today!
As founder of the campaign, I, Robert “Bob” McCarty, agreed to appear as a guest on the pH pHactor morning radio show on KFYR 550 AM, The Voice of the Northern Plains, in Bismarck, N.D.
During the show’s 8:15 a.m. segment Thursday, March 1, I’ll talk with host Phil Parker about how I came up with the whole warming label idea and, perhaps, delve into the insanity of the presidential campaigns beginning so early.
Based on the description of pH pHactor that appears on the radio station’s web site — “nearly as addictive as coffee, without those nasty effects like excessive bladder activity!” — I’m confident we’ll have a good time and suspect many in North Dakota will appreciate the basic tenet of the campaign — that Democrat, Republican and Independent presidential candidates should be required to display warning labels on all advertisements, literature and signage related to their 2008 presidential campaigns.
For more information about the campaign, visit the WARNING LABELS ON POLITICIANS web site. To go directly to an online store and obtain campaign-related merchandise featuring your favorite — or least favorite — 2008 presidential candidates, visit the WARNING LABELS ON POLITICIANS Shop.
Be sure to revisit this page after about 9 a.m. March 1 to find out how the interview went.
