Associated Press just broke a story this morning about Illinois Sen. Barack Obama and how, just two weeks before officially entering the 2008 presidential race, he “shelled out” $375 for 15 outstanding parking tickets and associated late fees he had accumulated while a student at Harvard 17 years ago.
An Obama spokesperson tried to put a positive, “common man” spin on the issue, but, in my estimation, failed.
Obama is another example of a power-hungry person who, even as a college student, thought he was above the law — and now he wants to hold the most powerful office on the planet!
