His name is marine SSG Frank Wuterich. Who sent him there to “police” that country? Who taught him how to deal with situations of this kind and how to handle it? I’ll tell you who incase you don’t have time to guess, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. He was doing exactly was he was trained to do, in a manner that was taught by our military. They kill us everyday by people who can not be recognized by what they wear. No informs, just regular people in everyday dress and our government expects this young man (who I think is only 25) to determine if they are bad or good…(and his decision could be his own death ) IN A SPLIT SECOND. That is ridicules by any mans standards. This man should be honored for just being there and serving his country and doing his duty. What is the matter with us and our government? Did we prosecute any of the pilots that flew over Iraq and dropped bombs and not only destroyed buildings, but killing innocent bystanders that just happened to be in the area…NO ! Why are you picking on this young man for doing his job? I expect some one to intervene (like the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES) to stop this non-sense. Give this man his life back. My husband is a Marine and a 2x Iraq veteran. I found you while doing a Google search to hear what the buzz was on this interview. So far, most of what I've found has actually been against this reporter and his obvious bias. It's people like you that makes my husband proud to serve. Thank you! Sgt. Wuterich has NOTHING to be ashamed of; he committed no wrongdoing beyond what is asked of him for his duties. The only people who should be ashamed are Scott Pelley and CBS News.
