Did Gore Violate ‘Separation’ of Church and State?

According to most media outlets, today’s big story was the appearance of former vice president Al Gore before a Senate panel; however, Bob McCarty Writes believes a bigger story took place: Gore’s appearance and presentation violated what many left-wing activists consider the “separation of church and state”. Let me explain.

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you’ll recall that we recently revealed three previously-unknown facts about Gore:

  • He is an ordained minister of global warming theology;

Now, marry the facts above with the following widely-known and much-publicized facts about Gore:

  • He has starred in an Academy Award-winning documentary, an inconvenient truth; and
  • He has traveled thousands of miles (by carbon-dioxide-emmitting jet, I might add) to share the message of his faith — “The Inconvenient Truth Shall Set You Free!” — with a wide variety of audiences, ranging from elementary school children to heads of state worldwide.

Finally, if we follow the thinking of groups like Americans United for Separation of Church and State (a group with whom this blog shares no similar viewpoints), we might interpret the First Amendment’s so-called “religion clause” as a clause that prevents members of the United States Congress from endorsing Reverend Gore’s global warming theology. Doing so would, in essence, constitute the establishment of a national religion.

If you oppose Reverend Gore’s global warming theology, show the world with one of the high-quality items from The Bob McCarty Shop. To see those items, click on the links below:
