In a news story today from the UK, John Travolta encouraged his fans to “do their bit” to tackle global warming. At the same time, he seems to be ignoring his own advice.

According to a recent study by the (UK) government-funded Carbon Trust, the 53-year-old actor and aviation enthusiast boasts a carbon “footprint” nearly 100 times that of the average Briton — and that’s just the footprint related to the 30,000 annual miles he logs behind the controls of five aircraft he owns and parks outside his Florida home not far from his private runway!
