Al Gore issued an urgent call to leaders of the Democrat-controlled Congress today, asking them to pass emergency legislation to ban the use of green house paint in this country.
“Many homeowners will paint the exteriors of their homes during the next six months,” said Gore during a telephone interview with Bob McCarty Writes this morning. “Unfortunately, many of them will choose to paint their homes green; therefore, in order to prevent a dangerous buildup of green house gases this summer, I’m asking Congress to act immediately to stop American homeowners from painting their houses green.
“If Congress fails to act,” he continued, “the level of green house gases in the atmosphere will rise to dangerous levels and, in turn, bring about catastrophic consequences.”
