In a post earlier today, I wrote that I had been invited to appear as a guest on BBC Radio’s World Have Your Say program which began at 12 Noon Central. My contribution to the show came and went in fairly ordinary fashion. As is usually the case, I was outnumbered by liberals from around the world — including the United States — who seem more closely in line with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi than with President George W. Bush.

Pelosi’s trip to Syria this week was the topic of the conversation in which I participated. Of course, I voiced my opposition to the speaker’s trip, saying “nothing good can come from this trip” that serves only to undermine the Office of the President and the United States’ foreign policy efforts.
