Sheryl Crow Touts ‘One-Square-Per Visit’ Future

April 23rd, 2007 · 8 Comments

This morning, I woke up to learn that the somewhat famous singer Sheryl Crow, a former flame of legendary cyclist Lance Armstrong, made some ludicrous statements to audiences during a two-week-long Stop Global Warming College Tour she conducted with television writer/actor Laurie David.

During a concert in Springfield, Tenn., April 19, she said this:

“Now, I don’t want to rob any law-abiding American of his or her God-given rights, but I think we are an industrious enough people that we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 to 3 could be required.”

Though the tour ended yesterday, Crow’s ideas, if implemented, could have a detrimental impact on the scrapbookin’ idea I touted in an Oct. 19 post at Bob McCarty Writes? Take a look at that post and let me know what you think the impact will be. Thanks in advance!
