When talking about the illegal immigration situation in the United States, many folks make the grave error of thinking this is a racist or class issue. They are dead wrong. This is about terrorism and the safety of American citizens. The debate is about keeping our borders secure so that terrorists cannot get into this country. It’s also about keeping out weapons, specifically nuclear and biological agents, that could be used by terrorists inside America.

And how right you are! I’ve discussed this in my previous two submissions at The Thinker (onemorecup.wordpress.com). As for me this notion is so overwhelming clear! I also believe that it is a tactical move—moreover, a diversion—from the real issue of illegal immigration. I have seen professionally made protest signs that read: “We’re Equal Too!” and I think…what on earth??
Nope and I highly agree with your featured writer, Debbie, from the Right Truth; it has become very, very clear that Washington is doing everything to continue the smoke and mirrors act by calling illegal immigration everything but what it is—it’s NOT about race, equality, or any other concoction going around these days. It is very much about security and NOT losing control of our Nation.
