In an exclusive report this afternoon, ABC News’ Brian Ross is reporting that large teams of newly-trained suicide bombers are being sent to the United States and Europe. According to evidence contained on a new videotape obtained by the the Blotter at ABCNews.com, teams assigned to carry out attacks in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Germany were introduced at a joint al-Qaeda/Taliban training camp graduation ceremony held June 9.
If the ABC News report is accurate, I expect gun control-advocating politicians like Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani will soon be calling upon President George W. Bush and the Democrat-controlled Congress to pass emergency legislation to counter this new threat.
The legislation, no doubt, will be similar to gun-control laws that have been adopted in many states. Specifically, it will require a mandatory three-day waiting period before individuals anywhere in the United States can purchase explosives-laden vests, belts, backpacks and similar devices from their local suicide bomber supply stores.
