Newest Taste Sensation Headed for Racetracks

I like to think of myself as an idea guy who’s always on the verge of launching the world’s next multi-million-dollar product idea! Today, I’m going to share one of those ideas with you.

It came to me one night as I was sitting in a hotel room far from home, flipping through all the cable channels in search of something interesting to watch.

On ESPN, I saw a commercial about a big race coming up at the NASCAR® Speedway in Martinsville, Va. A few channels later, I saw New Orleans chef Emeril Lagasse on the Food Network preparing something he called “kicked up escargot domes with duxelles and foie gras”. Roughly translated, that means snails. As I watched him prepare it – BAM! – the idea hit me!

First of all, I know the folks who make their living selling escargot would love to sell more of it. After all, that’s why they’re in business. I also know NASCAR® is the country’s most popular and fastest-growing spectator sport and has millions of fans across the country. I’d say it’s a match made in heaven.

Since the average fan in the stands at the Martinsville, Bristol, Daytona – or any other speedway for that matter – isn’t what I would call “the target market” for escargot, we will have to change the name up a bit and tell ‘em it tastes like chicken. Then – BAM! – I think it might just sell at the track.

Now, I invite you to join me as we dare to imagine the newest “fast-food” sensation sweeping the racing world: NASCARgo!

Yes, in much the same way fans enjoy watching race cars go ‘round and ‘round the track, fans will enjoy NASCARgo! With it packaged in little car-shaped boxes plastered with advertisements, even little race fans will love NASCARgo!
