If the U.S. pulls its troops out of Iraq too soon and gas prices reach $9 per gallon, you can blame your favorite Defeatist Democrats in the U.S. Congress [i.e., Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.), Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.) et al].

According to a Las Vegas Review-Journal article today, one congressman believes the prospect of gas prices reaching $9 per gallon is very real — that is, if the U.S. withdraws troops from Iraq prematurely.

All things considered, it appears there’s no better time than the present for automobile-dependent Americans to purchase t-shirts and other merchandise bearing the Will Work For Fuel logo shown at right. After all, folks are going to have to advertise their availability and willingness to work in order to land odd jobs to pay for their gas.
