Sources inside the Mike Huckabee for President campaign tell Bob McCarty Writes the former Arkansas governor’s fund-raising efforts have spiked in recent days — to the point that it raised $160,000 during the first three days of October alone. That news was accompanied by other noteworthy observations about Huckabee’s third-quarter report filed with the Federal Election Commission:

• Between July 1 and Aug. 11, the Huckabee campaign raised roughly $213,000 — or $5,195 per day;

• Between Aug. 12 and Sept. 30, the Huckabee campaign raised roughly $805,000 — or $16,428 per day; and

• Just over $600,000 of the funds raised by the Huckabee campaign during the third quarter — or 60% of the overall total — was raised online.
