It is to be expected that any breathing human being would be leary of joining the military in a time of war.

With the constant negative flow of info coming out of the media, it makes it even more understandable of second thoughts from a potential recruit.

This makes it even more commendable and uplifting when these men and women still join.

There are an incredible amount of troops re-enlisting also. That should also reassure these potential soldiers.

Its best that someone thinking of joining understand that there is also an undrelying motive in much of the negative stories reported on the war.

They should always talk to several Vets and serving soldiers to get the real story on military life and not the media.

God Bless them all.

Thx Lt. Listener

Speaking of Harry Reid's "the war is lost" comment...if ever there was an elected person deserving of the title "defeatist" and pretty close to "traitor" -- for giving aid and comfort to the enemy -- it is Reid. Nevada should be ashamed to have that as their senator.
