He pines away for the days of Soviet domination ... and it's pretty clear that he wants to be the new Lenin and rebuild the bloc. On the other hand ... I'm going to get the "Freedom" mug for my Cold Warrior father -- a retired USAF lt. colonel, Vietnam vet, and B-52 pilot. Putin is an unrepentant KGB officer.
