Sadly, the Sudanese and many nations under the tyranny of religious doctrine have little education, and it will take many generations, I fear, before such ridiculous scenarios diminish. I'm a humourist, and always see the funny side, and try to deflate situations by humour, but even that is frowned upon by the Immans of Islam. (Certain cartoons come to mind). Religion has a place, but must not be part of the political arena. Certainly it should not be used as a reason to castigate or punish the citizens of our modern era, that are enlightened and to my mind, wanting to create a better world for all.
