Could the most lavishly funded intelligence operation in history, backed up by the most powerful military known to man, ever, really be upstaged by Burger-Boy?
You are correct. The answer is no.
If, for some reason, the logical strategies [very sweet carrots, very large sticks] failed to work. Wouldn’t the think-tank crowd, the terrorist-hatin’ super-brains, suggest something like “Let’s hire someone like Morgan Spurlock to find him.” Not Spurlock, someone like him.
Again you are correct. the answer this time is yes.
So, finally, [assuming Spurlock did indeed find OBL, but regardless, really] Why has MS found OBL while the USA’s defense and intelligence goliath not found him? Repeat the essence of the question: “Why have we not found him?”
answer: It would HAVE to be because influential people do not want OBL to be found. Influential people such as those with a long history of doing business with people such as Salem bin Laden and the Saudi aristocracy.

“According to the article, the film maker who gained fame for his 2004 film, Super Size Me, is making just such a claim.”

The MSNBC story never says that. Nor has Spurlock. The story talks about “rumors” and “speculation” and a possible publicity ploy. Spurlock is never quoted and has not said anything to this effect. His DP talked about getting “the Holy Grail” but the larger context of his quote suggests he MIGHT have just been referring to the beauty of the footage they shot. That seems like a stretch, and it’s more likely folks are just trying to fan the flames of hype around the film. But to be fair, Spurlock has NOT made such a claim outright.
