Physicians Group Outed for Pro-Abortion Stance

December 18th, 2007 · No Comments

If you utilize the services of an OBGYN who is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, you might want to consider changing physicians.

I offer that advice after reading American Life League President Judie Brown’s Dec. 13 statement regarding the position of ACOG’s Committee of Ethics on abortion and comparing her claims to information I found on the ACOG web site:

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ Committee of Ethics has made it crystal clear that ACOG is finally coming out of the closet and showing itself to be the godless entity we knew it was all along. The committee’s recent dictatorial statement that physicians who do not want to perform abortion must refer patients to an abortionist validates the well-documented record that ACOG established early on and has been building upon ever since. There is no doubt whatsoever that the entire ACOG bureaucracy will support the proposal and enforce it. Ever since 1965, when ACOG redefined the beginning of pregnancy so that patients would not need to know the truth about how the birth control pill works, things have been going downhill. It is obvious that the desire to satiate an appetite for money has taken over the entire organization. ACOG has been involved in deception and death for years, prescribing abortive birth control pills and forcing peers to involve themselves in killing preborn children by abortion. This recent statement confirms the commitment ACOG has to evil and its progeny.

Was Brown accurate with her criticism? Judging by the information shown below, which I found on the ACOG Abortion Resource Guide web page, I’d have to say she was:

Almost half of US women have experienced an unintended pregnancy and about half of unintended pregnancies end in abortion. In 2002, 1.29 million abortions took place, down from 1.36 million in 1996. Although improved access to contraception has decreased abortion rates, the availability of safe, legal abortion remains of vital importance to the health of women. This resource guide provides links to US abortion data, guidelines for the provision of abortion services, access to abortion services and current research on abortion.

Are you looking for information on abortion?

Are you looking for the latest statistics about abortion?

Are you looking for information on local abortion services?

Are you looking for medical practice guidelines on abortion?

Are you looking for research on abortion?

Are you looking for training opportunities for health care providers on abortion?

How can you advocate for access to safe legal abortion?

The ACOG web site also offers links to nearly every major pro-abortion organization known to man, but I won’t list them here.

Clearly, ACOG is advocating abortion; therefore, you might want to find out where your ACOG card-holding physician stands on the issue of abortion and the rights of the unborn. After all, if your physician doesn’t value the life of an unborn child, he might not place much value on your life either.
