For years, my three school-age boys have wanted a trampoline. For a variety of reasons, I’ve refused to grant them their collective wish on more occasions than I can remember. Last night, however, they finally got their wish.
A cold front arrived in the St. Louis area, bearing winds strong enough to relocate the trampoline from my neighbor’s yard into mine. Around 9 p.m. Central last night, we heard the winds outside grow strong. Then we heard an unusual wind-driven noise — the sound of my neighbor’s 300-lb. trampoline tumbling approximately 30 yards, through the wooden fence that separates our yards and into the middle of our back yard.
Merry Christmas, boys! You finally have a trampoline!

Bob:
What a Christmas tale! However, I like it because it represents true life.
Merry Christmas, friend – to you and your family.
