It comes as no surprise that Republican Fred Thompson has dropped out of the 2008 presidential race. When I visited the Fred08.com web site a short while ago and saw a typo-filled message — “The Fred File feed is currently unavailable. Thank your for your patience.” — I suspected an announcement might be forthcoming and grabbed a screenshot (see graphic below).

Now, the question is, “Who’s next?” Rudy? Huckabee? Stay tuned!
