Thirty-five years ago today, the U.S. Supreme Court paved the way for more than 48 million babies to be killed via their decision in the case known as Roe v. Wade to make abortion legal.
Thankfully, according to nonpartisan data published at National Right to Life, the number of abortions annually performed in the U.S. has dropped back to levels not seen since the late 1970s after reaching a high of over 1.6 million in 1990.
