My pastor has been preaching a series on the End Times as described in the Book of Revelation and elsewhere throughout the Bible. Yesterday, he recommended I read a book, The Apocalypse of Ahmadinejad: The Revelation of Iran’s Nuclear Prophet by Mark Hitchcock.

When I went online to check out the book, I found these teasers about the book which only whetted my appetite further:

Normally, I don’t recommend books in this space without at least perusing them a bit. I’m going to recommend this book, however, because of three primary reasons:

• The subject matter — as described above and by my pastor — is of great interest to me (and, quite frankly, should be of interest to all);

• I place great value upon anything recommended to me by my pastor; and, finally

• During my online research, I learned the author is a fellow Oklahoma State University graduate and former lawyer — emphasis on former — who now pastors a church in Edmond, Okla.
