Is it just me or does anyone else find reading the headline, Sen. Kennedy Backs Obama for President, a bit strange.
For Barack Obama, the first-term senator from Illinois, to accept the political equivalent of a blessing from the liberal Massachusetts senator strikes me as a move that goes against the grain of the political strategy that has propelled him to the frontrunner’s position among Democrats in the 2008 presidential race.
Likewise, for one of the most well-entrenched liberal political figures in history to endorse anyone other than Hillary Clinton causes me to wonder who else might soon abandon the sinking ship that is the U.S.S.R. Clinton.
I suppose the only thing we can do at this point is sit back and watch the chips fall where they may.

Despite my angst about the disarray in the Repubs, I am finding some amusement, at least early on, from watching BubbaInc. imploding a tad. The more buffoonesque he gets, trying to get back into the Oral Office — the more he degrades the ‘inevitable’ Hildebeest. I can’t say that’s not satisfying.
