I’m in the eighth grade and I hear about global warming on a daily bases!!! Al Gore won the Nobel Prize for his movie, “An Inconvenient Truth” is a lie in 11 ways. I argue with my teachers about it and i have more points than them. Yet, its still in our text books that humans are the main contributors of global warming. If you ask me, its a load of liberal hogwash!!!

I suggest you find some better to do in Yachats, Ore., than simply post the online equivalent of graffiti on blogs like mine. No one appreciates it.
Your comment, a copy-and-paste job from today’sNew York Times, will not make the pages of this blog for two reasons: First, the Times piece is based on junk science; and, second, reprinting complete articles without permission violates copyright laws.

I live in Philomath, Oregon. Graffiti? Arctic ice is down 22% of average, 2010 is shaping up to be the hottest year since records were first kept, average ocean temperatures are up, pH of the ocean is dropping and the data continues to support excess carbon dioxide is causing these rapid changes. I am a science teacher of 30 years and I am saddened by your “take ” on science. Whenever facts don’t match your agenda…you try (key term, try) to discredit them. Global warming is debunked? By who? Glenn Beck? Rush Limbaugh? The Koch Brothers? API? Why are you so afraid of real science. This is not a cut and paste job…these are hard facts. Print these…or…are you afraid of facts?
