A lot has been written about William F. Buckley Jr. since his passing last week. If you haven’t read enough already, I highly recommend you read Michael Johns’ piece about the conservative icon. It begins his way:

In this stark contrast lies his larger-than-life legacy, and let there be no mistake: It is a legacy that will endure the ages.
