One day after Northrop Grumman attempted to set the record straight regarding its victory in the battle over the coveted Air Force KC-45A tanker contract, The Boeing Company countered.
In a news release this afternoon, the aerospace giant reported it had filed a formal protest with the Government Accountability Office and asked the agency to review its decision to aware the tanker contract to Northrop Grumman and European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company. Boeing cited “irregularities with the process of the competition and the evaluation of the competitors’ bids” as the basis for its protest.Click here to read the entire release.
