Yesterday, we reported on an incident in the Suez Canal that involved a U.S.-flagged ship and a shooting. AFP reported that the ship involved was a U.S. military ship, while the International Herald Tribune reported that a cargo ship was involved. Today, we learned that the ship involved — the Global Patriot — is a cargo ship reportedly transporting used military equipment in the region.
