The answers to the first question of the Democrat Presidential Debate on ABC tonight reminded me of that holiday celebrated so famously in Punxsutawney, Pa.
Should you win the nomination, will you promise now to take on the other candidate as your running mate?
Much like “Punxsutawney Phil” on Groundhog Day, both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton came out of their campaign holes unwilling to publicly say they would take on the other as a running mate (a.k.a., “shadow”). As a result, it looks like we’re gonna have at least six more weeks of mudslinging.
