CAIR Panel ‘Separating Religion from Terror’

April 25th, 2008 · No Comments

According to a news release this morning, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will host a panel discussion, entitled “Separating Religion From Terror: Implications for U.S. Policy,” at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Tuesday, May 6. That ought to be interesting.

This news — from CAIR — comes only two days after I published news about The Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright’s scheduled appearance which will take place at the same venue Monday morning (See Rev. Wright to Address National Press Club). Seems as if the press club boys are on a mission to put the right spin on all things many Americans would dub “radical.”

Below are the basics of the event as contained in the news release:

WHAT: Separating Religion From Terror: Implications for U.S. Policy

WHEN: Tuesday, May 6, 9-11 a.m.

WHERE: National Press Club, Zenger Room, 529 14th St. NW, 13th Floor, Washington, DC

PANELISTS: Frank Cilluffo, Homeland Security Policy Institute; Douglas Johnston, International Center for Religion and Diplomacy; Parvez Ahmed, CAIR Board Chairman

TO RESERVE A SEAT: E-Mail events@cair.com or call 202-488-8787

Admission to the event is free, but reservations are required.

Note: If you’re a conservative blogger who plans to attend this event, please advise as I would like the opportunity to crosspost your observations here.
