Blogosphere Abuzz with Rev. Wright Chatter

April 28th, 2008 · 2 Comments

While they wait for a transcript of the speech to surface, the blogosphere is abuzz with punchy opinions about this morning’s National Press Club speech by Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright Jr.

In an article published today at NewsBusters, Mark Finkelstein offered this thought:

My two cents say Rev. Wright’s latest diatribes are devastating for Obama.

Heavy-metal politics blogger Dodgeblogium wrote this:

“Watched the whole thing and am speechless at the arrogance and vile nature of this man.”

Regardless of the spin Barack Obama’s camp puts on the speech by his pastor for more than 20 years at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, I have a feeling John Tabin’s comment — which appeared under the headline, “Reverend Megalomaniac,” at the American Spectator — holds the most truth:

“I’m guessing that they’re in full panic mode at Obama Headquarters.

Stay tuned as I, too, will have more to offer once a transcript is available.

This guy is unbelievable. Just out of curiosity, what 5 languages does he speak and where did he obtain his doctorate and phd? His words are not those of an educated man. He has some very lofty theories that I heard nary a scrap of evidence provided as support. Why is it that this guy has a license to be racist and small minded and to spew out unqualified drivel and pass it off as fact. We all know if this had been a religious leader of a certain other race, he’d of been branded the spiritual leader of the KKK. Word of advice to “Dr.” Wright, think and then speakl. How’s that for your common sense?
