As the author of the error-filled comment above, you have a lot of nerve — or should I call it ignorance — to critique anyone’s writing. I think you, perhaps, are both delusional and insecure. When it comes to your comment regarding me (“Bob”) being a “novice writer,” you are just flat wrong. What I am is an experienced writer who isn’t worried about either being politically correct or satisfying milque toast types like you.

Whoever wrote needs to learn a few lessons… One predictions were off, big whoop, it happens. As a professional, if that is what he calls himself, he shouldn’t take his position so defensively and instead be apologetic for misleading the consumer. A lesson in business and writing etiquette would definitely help the “Bob” to become a not so novice writer.

Whoever wrote this article shouldn’t have been sleeping during Econ class. Don’t get yourself all caught up in the gas frenzy. Its not going to be $10 a gallon demand for gas will overturn the price if it ever exceeded to that amount.

Too bad you are just rying to scare people. The reality is that a gas price of even $8 per gallong will have catastrophic effect on world economy so much so that within 12-18 months of this a sustained $8 (>=6 mnths). The gas price will drop to nominal level. The current Open leader ONLY PRODUCES 22% of Oil for the world. Other countries are not that well off. In case of $8 per gallon the chase to the demand will cause a lot of bad decisions for poorer countries of the world that will raise the price of food beyond their reach and will cause a world wide drop in demand. this would result in accelerated adoption of alternatives and over a period of 5 years the price of Gas will be belo $1 a gallon ( I am sure that no one would care about it much before that)
