Despite neighborhood association rules that require properties in my subdivision to be maintained in good shape, once in a while someone falls behind on mowing their grass. Last summer, one of my neighbors fell behind. As a practical joke, I left a message — “MOW” — in his yard while he was away. The “M” in that message appears in the photo below:
