If Sebastian really cares about the rights of plants than he will definitely want to eat vegetarian. To create a pound of beef protein, at least 12 times as many grains are needed than to make a pound of tofu. True it is an inescapable fact that in order to sustain life, one must take life, but a vegetarian will eat far fewer plants than a carnivore. A sobering thought as we struggle to grow grains for both our cars and our bodies now.
