When ran for president in 1872, she knew she had no chance to win, according to a piece published in Newsweek today, but she ran nevertheless. Conversely, Hillary Clinton not only knew she had a chance, but fully expected to win. The presidency was, many believe, something the former first lady once considered her birthright. Unfortunately for Clinton, it appears the former first lady’s 2008 White House bid will turn out exactly as depicted in the clever Political Graffiti cartoon above.

Thanks for the history (or herstory) lesson Bob!
I think the biggest tragedy of her campaign is squandering all that $ she had in her war chest this past summer. Her campaign was sloppy and lazy. She really believed that she was entitled to the throne.
