Will Hillary Clinton Ever Give Up Race?

May 20th, 2008 · 1 Comment

As the race for the 2008 Democratic Party presidential nomination continues, both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton expect to win primaries today.

Obama expects to win in a landslide in Oregon, while most political prognosticators think Kentucky voters will lean Clinton’s way. As a result, the former will claim the nomination based upon the number of delegates he won; and the latter will use a less-conventional approach to claim the nomination, saying she captured more popular votes.

However things turn out, one can appreciate how frustrated Obama and his followers must be about Clinton’s stubborn persistence. In the same vein, one can understand John McCain’s willingness to “play along” with the drama as it plays out on the other side fo the political aisle.

Oh, horsefeathers…let Billary stay in and try every trick imaginable to steal the nomination he/she is so convinced is hers by right of birth; it’ll be fun to watch the Dems turn Denver on its ear in August, and then shamelessly try to blame Dubya for their own blatant, grotesque excessive stupidity.
