Only four days after publishing a post, Roadkill Could Help Fight Hunger in Illinois, I read a Chicago Tribune article this morning about the Illinois legislature’s decision over the weekend to throw $20 million at the program and resume roadkill cleanup.

Because it’s unclear at this point how resumption of roadkill cleanup activities in the Land of Lincoln will impact programs to feed the hungry, sales of ROADKILLINOIS merchandise will continue. Be advised, however, that decisions made about the continued availability of this product line will be based solely upon sales figures.
