Much has been written about the issue of illegal immigration, especially in recent months as the U.S. Senate wrestled with the issue. Among the many reasons this issue is critical to our nation is the claim that, according to the Immigration Daily News, half of the individuals wanted by the FBI for murder are illegal aliens.

While I did not verify IDN’s claim in its entirety, I can attest to having reviewed many of the FBI fugitive descriptions shown below. Among those I reviewed, many are described by the FBI as “illegal immigrants”; therefore, I have no reason to doubt the validity of IDN’s claim about the remainder.
