I won’t be celebrating the American Public Transportation Association’s Third Annual National Dump the Pump Day, because I work from home. I will, however, encourage others to do so — but only because I like the campaign logo that appeared in an ATPA ad I saw published at the USA TODAY web site.
One day soon, perhaps on the first Tuesday of November, we can organize another special day to recognize dysfunctional members of Congress (i.e., nearly all of them). We can call it “Dump the Chump Day” and, perhaps, design a logo that mimics the ATPA logo shown above with a subhead that reads, “RIDE PUBLIC OFFICIALS,” and encourages voters to “SAVE TAX DOLLARS. SAVE YOUR COUNTRY.”
It’s just a thought. Anyone out there want to design a logo? If so, let me know ASAP.
