In much the same way Political Graffiti cartoonist David Donar captured in a single image the impact Tiger Woods’ recently-announced withdrawal from the PGA Tour will have on the remainder of the men’s professional golf season, a recent San Diego Union-Tribune headline captured the impact in words:

Woods’ knee injury puts pro golf in painful position

One might argue that those in agreement with the headline’s message are viewing the situation from a glass-half-empty perspective. On the glass-half-full side of the equation: Every other player holding a PGA Tour card.
