Blogger Searches for ‘Dirt’ on Barack Obama

July 1st, 2008 · 1 Comment

This afternoon, I came across a news release about a web site named Dirt Search. The name alone led me to believe the site might be ideal for conducting research on political candidates. As things turned out, however, I was wrong.

I went to the site and typed in the name, Barack Obama, in the appropriate blanks and selected “Illinois” as the state. The results, shown below, were less than complete.

Only the Logan County, Ill., entry above even remotely resembles “dirt.” It links to a court records site offering details of the 2001 speeding ticket Obama received for “DRIVING 21-25 MPH ABOVE LIMIT,” a $95 offense.

Unsatisfied, I changed things up a bit by using the presumptive Democrat Party presidential nominee’s first name and middle initial (i.e., “Barack H.”) in the first-name block. Sadly, the new results (below) were no better than the first.

Final analysis: Anyone who believes these results about Barack Hussein Obama is either fooling himself or, simply put, dumber than dirt.
