Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) made a show out of calling upon Americans to call President George W. Bush and demand he fix the problems causing the price of fuel to skyrocket. In reality, the slightly-out-of-date chart above shows who is largely responsible for skyrocketing gas prices today.

If you’re fed up with the skyrocketing costs of fuel, food and other necessities of life caused by Congressional inaction, call Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi today and tell her it’s time for Congress to get the hell out of the way and let oil companies drill along the U.S. coasts and in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR)!
