Aaron Klein reports today at WorldNet Daily that presumptive Democrat Party presidential nominee Barack Obama has taken the lapel flag pin issue to a whole new level. Under the headline, American flag disappears from Obama campaign jet, his article begins this way:
As part of a month-long aircraft makeover, a painted American flag was removed from the tail of Sen. Barack Obama’s official campaign airplane and was replaced with the presidential candidate’s trademark “O” symbol.

Hussein’s returning to Iraq, and for this reason he cannot offend Hussein’s faithful with an American flag which would remind them how America has ended Hussein’s pradisiac reign.
Makes sense?

you know… either you’re patriotic or you’re not…either you have pride in your country, or you don’t…it’s really hard to fake these things…maybe BO hung out at that church too long!

Self-aggrandizement.
All rock stars do it.
Demi-gods, too.
I bet the networks paid for it, and probably asked for second billing.

the US flag is still next to the N number on the plane, you stupid twit. Had you bothered to show more than one HIGHLY CROPPED photo, you’d know that, but I suspect the truth is not something you spend a lot of time with.
by the way, did you ever bother to look for a US flag on John Sidney McCain’s “Straight Talk Express”? No, I didn’t think you did.

Rad(ical) — FYI: The Chicago Sun-Times took that photo. Not me. And, by the way, John McCain’s loyalty to this country is not in question. Obama’s is.

The American flag was not removed from the tail of the Obama campaign jet. The copyrighted logo of North American Airlines was removed from that aircraft, probably under the terms of the lease agreement. That logo, an artistic representation of an American flag displays only seventeen stars. No individual or corporation is entitled or allowed to copyright the American flag. The charge is bogus. Ignorance, apparently, is bliss – in the blogosphere.

Myth — So the Chicago Sun-Times got it wrong? In this case, I doubt it. Ignorance is back in your court.

Has anybody looked at a photo of McCain’s plane? Guess what on the tail.. you guessed it McCain’s logo, not a flag! This is much ado about NOTHING!

nololou — So what! Unlike Obama, McCain has nothing to prove when it comes to love of country.

Did you see that beautiful flowing flag on that tail before he painted over it? It is sad that Obama seems to have it in for the flag, but what is more sad is that so many American’s don’t mind about that. Many of my relatives that died in WWII would take issue with this…..American’s should take issue with it too…I do. John McCain is a true American….His love for this country has never been questioned. Barack Obama cannot say that. Rev Wright, Bill Ayers, Flag Lapel Pins, Acorn, How much more needs to be said?????
