CNSNews.com published an article today about Barack Obama and his stance on same-sex marriage, saying the presumptive Democratic Party presidential nominee may have finally tipped his hand on how he really feels.
In what should come as no surprise to anyone familiar with the U.S. Senate’s most-liberal member, Obama expressed seemingly unconditional support for the homosexual/lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgender (LGBT) agenda in a letter he sent to the executive director of the Boston-based Family Equality Council. Below is a paragraph from that letter:
But we also have to do more to support and strengthen LGBT families. Because equality in relationship, family, and adoption rights is not some abstract principle; it’s about whether millions of LGBT Americans can finally live lives marked by dignity and freedom. That’s why we have to repeal laws like the Defense of Marriage Act. That’s why we have to eliminate discrimination against LGBT families. And that’s why we have to extend equal treatment in our family and adoption laws.
Hopefully, news about this letter will spread and convince more and more people that Republican John McCain is the only better choice in 2008.

Mr. Obama does not know what he is talking about. Equal treatment “in our family and adoption laws” is quite wide, considering that the main issue which might have some slight chance of success is the adoption by a couple of the child of one partner with or without the consent of the other biological parent.

I’m an ardent Hillary supporter who has remained undecided until today.
I want to thank YOU for posting this. After remaining neutral, THIS will seal my vote FOR Obama. I’ve always been troubled by his lack of enthusiasm for the LGBT community. This is tremendous progress.
So thank you.

Jordan — I didn’t publish this as a show of support for Obama; rather, I published it to show my disdain for the candidate and his support of this abhorrent lifestyle (i.e., same-sex marriage, etc.).

Jordan.
If you believe him in the first and second place. He said the contrary before and will say it again when asked to explain his position on these issues.
