It moves chronologically from Barack Obama's background to his political past, to how we might live under Obamanation. Of interest to myself was the connection of George Soros in the Democratic Presidential Race as well as a critique of what Obama's Health Care Policy would look like. George Soros and Moveon.org had spent $300,000,000 in the last two presidential elections, and still lost. Billionaire, Soros, seems to be the head honcho of Moveon.org(which has no less than 3.2 million active members. Moveon.org ran an attack ad against General David Petreous by accusing him of 'cooking the books for the White House' and as being 'a military man constantly at war with the facts')...Prediction for Soros to manipulate the currency market with Asian and European traders to "crash the dollar" as a lost economy means the GOP will mean an easy Obama victory. Interestingly enough,the recent economic crash has been blamed on the GOP by the Democrats; Obama and Biden are really benefiting from that crash.Was the prediction about George Soros far fetched? George had collapsed the entire economy of England and was found guilty of insider trading, stock manipulation, and trading fraud. Barack Obama is pushing for Universal Health Care. As an Illinois Senator, Barack voted to require insurance to cover such medical procedures as laughing gas for dental work, treatments for infertility, drug rehab, and injuries from being drunk. Add to the fact that free health care will increase the number of people using medical services, seeing a doctor, or being admitted to a hospital. If many people are using free health care, clearly the quantity (number of patients and work to be done) of health care is going to go up, but what about the quality? How are doctors going to pay their medical school loans(viz. four years of college and four years of medical school, and more) when there income is restricted by the government. The government bureaucracy will force the best and brightest individuals to seek some other profession that pays their hard work and dedication. The quality of medical service will clearly go down with socialized medicine. We are not going to have enough doctors and hospital and clinic medical staffs are going to be overworked and underpaid. Of course, the book doesn't discuss about illegal aliens, who are apparently also going to get free medical care for what they are unable to pay for. If you are interested in these topics plus others, such as Obama's positions on unions,crime, child protection, taxes, drugs, energy/oil, education,ect., this book might be worth buying.
