Today, I found two items worth sharing that serve as evidence that Barack Obama and the mainstream news media (i.e., ABC News) are showing signs of desperation in their effort to defeat Republicans John McCain and Sarah Palin:
- The first item highlights the poor research done by the Barack Obama campaign prior to releasing a new campaign advertisement that bashes McCain for not knowing how to use a computer or send e-mail. If Obama’s folks would have read the Boston Globe (March 4, 2000) or Slate, (Feb. 11, 2000), they would have learned that McCain’s severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard. It’s all covered in The Corner on National Review Online today.
- The second item, courtesy of The Astute Bloggers, compares and contrasts the questions asked by ABC News’ Charlie Gibson of Palin and Obama this year and John Edwards in 2004. ABC’s shameful double standard, evident in the tone and content of the questions, sticks out like the proverbial “sore thumb.”
While you check out these items, I’m going to turn away from the presidential race for a few hours and watch my Oklahoma Sooners as they spank the Washington Huskies on ESPN tonight.

I long ago stopped expecting anything akin to journalism “standards” from Chucky Gibson and his liberal fawning ilk a couple elections back. They only get worse with each passing cycle. Pretty soon, Chucky will wear his hammer and sickle and start calling his peers, “Comrade”. He’s a step behind Matthews and Olbermann, but obviously running to catch up.

–the computer argument is so stupid on so many levels it really proves that the obama camp is trying to influence swing voters and undecideds that are busy as heck, don’t have time to sort stuff out and will vote according to an impression and/or emotion…they have actually treated the public as if they are stupid with a ton of help from the media who are so invested in him winning that they are now sinking to new lows never before seen…and reality just gets pushed further and further away…obama in no way shape or form represents middle america so then they have bs to desperately try to make him look like what he clearly is not…a man that won’t protect live births is a man that won’t protect anyone and who will go with the prevailing winds from moveon.org to soros to reid and pelosi…that is leadership? I guess if you want the country to go to hell in a hand basket then obama will make sure the government helps out…
..now they are questioning every detail about palin…it just makes obama and biden look worse because it so obvious that the media has not done any of that with obama/binden…she hired her friends and used lobbyist…well the point is actually that her friends were people that helped her bring STAGGERING CHANGE to Alaska…and lobbyists are part of america…the issue is “do you use your power to make the lobbyist happy or do you make your decisions for the good of the people you serve” the bleepen media that is making a stink about lobbyists have lobbyists…I really hand it to mccain and palin for going to the liberal media when they know they will be treated unfairly…it gives them a chance to get through to people who are truly undecided…ie charlie looked like a fool as did the view crew…they listed how many interviews biden has given in comparison to palin to demonstrate she is hiding from the press…well let’s see she owes the press nothing after how badly they have treated her and biden has been around since moses(which is how they learned to part the waters) so yes he has given more interviews…?this is suppose to be significant…I find it far more significant that palin has done more in two years as governor than biden and obama put together…and the arguments just get more pathetic so YUP it must all be a sign of desperation…because the facts count for even less than when obama was directing god to send down light

If, as Obama says, “must change the players” in “the game” then why pick a professional politician in Biden?
With regard to Sarah Palin’s treatment,Where are the women who advocate women be given equal ground in all parts of our culture? And why weren’t these women angry about Hillary not being selected as a running mate?
Jack Wheeler identifies one of the biggest lies of the Obama image-that he is a product of a slave family “from Africa. He is a half-breed whose Arabic heritage is that of slave owners.
You might find his campaign orchestrated by a Facebook principle owner, and you might find his IMAGE in media form on their website, but you won’t find him! By accusing (a favorite attorney tactic) he has escaped scrutiny of his real identity by a shameless media that lacks the testicles to treat all candidates equally, even if it is badly.
