"Yikes! I Might Be...Militia!"
More than seven months ago, I wrote about Penny Pritzker in a post, Obama Finance Chair Tied To Subprime Scandal. Today, Rush Limbaugh mentioned her name on his radio program. For what you ask? He learned that a reception for Mahmound Ahmadinejad will be held at the Pritzker-owned Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City when the Iranian president visits the United Nations next week.

Anti-Semitic Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will be the special guest of some liberal American religious leaders next week at a dinner in New York honoring the Muslim holiday Ramadan.
Organizers of the event Thursday at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York say the “Iftar” — a dinner to break the Ramadan fast — is an opportunity to discuss “the role of religions in tackling global challenges and building peaceful societies.”
Sponsoring groups — which include the World Council of Churches, Mennonite Central Committee, and Quaker United Nations Office — say the meal with the Iranian leader will allow religious and political leaders to “explore faith perspectives for dealing with global issues such as poverty, war, and prejudice while deepening mutual understanding.”
Now, a new question arises: “How long will it be until Obama throws Pritzker under the bus?”

Soon as Oblahblah’s internal pollsters tell him Pritzker’s involvement is hurting him, *bam*, she’s a speed bump under da bus.
But Ahmadinejad will continue to get butt-kissing treatment from Oblahblah. Oblahblah is not only no friend of Israel, he’s no friend of US security interests.

No wonder the Dems didn’t want Palin at the anti-Ahmadinejad rally! Obama’s or Biden’s absence would have been noticeable, and this information about Obama’s finance chairwoman would have gotten wide distribution.

An interfaith organization booked the Hyatt for the Ahmadinejad event. It’s a public forum, and we still have some freedoms in that regard in this country, so it’s ludicrous to think that Penny Pritzker could easily have prevented the event. Or you could continue to follow your policy of creating and believing as much misinformation as possible. You think not hearing it on the MSM makes it more true. Bill — Penny Pritzker owns the Grand Hyatt, regardless of what you want to believe. And, yes, she could have denied the group from holding their event in her hotel, regardless of what you choose to believe. Get your facts straight, will ya!

Hot – The Marmon Group owns the Hyatt Hotels. It was a Pritzker family group originally, true enough. In March 2008, Berkshire Hathaway Inc. acquired 60 percent of Marmon Holdings, Inc., with the remaining 40 percent to be acquired through staged acquisitions over a five to six year period.
Now how, exactly, was Penny Pritzker, who isn’t much of an owner, let alone a manager, of Hyatt, supposed to find out about and prevent renting a Hyatt to an interfaith group?
Get your facts straight.

Bill — “Pass the beef, please.” The source in my post, OneNewsNow.com attributed the ownership to Pritzker. If you can provide proof of your claims and where I can locate that proof, I’ll issue a correction.

Bill in San Diego sent a comment in which he used admitted being wrong. Unfortunately, he used hundreds of words when a handful would do. Below is the pertinent portion of his comment:
“But upon closer inspection, something’s not right: I see that Marmon does industrial stuff. I think I was misled, and that in fact the Pritzker family still owns Hyatt, so my brief research was wrong.”
