I noticed the left-wing liberal group known as ACORN posted a job listing in the nonprofit job category on Craigslist in St. Louis.  The group, known formally as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, is searching for a field representative in St. Louis.

Below is the actual text of the ACORN ad (PostingID: 845707306) which promises to pay “$325 per week plus bonus.”  As a public service, I’ve added additional information IN RED TYPE so that potential job seekers might be fully informed about the position:

You are sick of the actions of our government when it operates within the framework of that pesky document known as the U.S. Constitution.

You believe 45 million Americans without health care is a national tragedy, but you’re not willing to work hard to pay for your own health insurance.

You see friends or family lose their homes to foreclosure and you know it is wrong, but you’re willing to accept bailout money as long as it’s not coming straight out of your wallet.

You feel a duty to take back your country, but you hate those serving in the military and the work they do to safeguard your freedom.

You are sick of the middle-of-the-road upper middle class politics, because you never aspired to reach that high.

You are tired of left wing groups getting absolutely nothing done, but you continually vote for left-wing Democrats who get absolutely nothing done.

You are sick of 30 second sound bites as a substitute for Democracy, but your attention span won’t last any longer than that.

You are convinced that we can win if we do it one VOTER at a time, even if we have to use the names of dead people, non-citizens and household pets on fraudulent voter registration cards.

You are not interested in taking another dead end retail, waiter, or office job; instead, you’re interested in a dead-end job with us.

You are not interested in office politics or dress codes; instead, you’re interested in dirty politics and cross-dressing.

If you feel strongly that we need to take back our country from the status quo using any and all means necessary, and are sick of band aid solutions, this is for you.

ACORN is looking for energetic activists (a.k.a., “NUTS”) in St. Louis to be a part of the most exciting progressive political project in America today. No brains required!
