After apparently giving up the right to remain silent, a West Virginia man who had been arrested on a charge of driving under the influence now faces an additional charge of battery.
According to this report, he gave up the right to remain silent (pun intended) and passed gas in the direction of a police officer who was trying to take a set of his fingerprints. Hat tip: Drudge Report.
