Burning Down The House: What Caused Our Economic Crisis is, perhaps, the best video yet to explain the current economic crisis and offers details about the political players involved, including presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama and several of the folks most responsible for the crisis.
UPDATE 9/29/08: It appears the video that is the subject of this post was pulled from YouTube after Warner Music filed a copyright infringement claim against its producer. Hopefully, it will reappear soon with no music or different music. We’ll see. In lieu of the video, the links that appear below this graphic are well worth your time to review, so scroll down now…
UPDATE #2 9/30/08: I changed the link in the opening paragraph above and in the graphic below after finding a new version of the video to replace the version that was pulled.
Below are links to news sources cited throughout the video shown in the order in which they appear in the video:
- The Housing Enterprise Regulatory Act of 2005, www.govtrack.us;
- Barack Obama advisor Jim Johnson quits under fire ,Los Angeles Times, 6-12-08;

More proof that not only is Obama a liar and potentially a criminal; a good deal of his House and Senate backers are up to their elbows in the same slime, along with their ACORN cretins.
Go ahead, McCulloch…cite me, you lowlife twit.
And the media — save for media like this — doesn’t touch it. Tell you what: there is no longer a “news” media, or “journalists” that dig deep into stories to get both sides, and get the truth out anymore, save for blogs like this one, Right Truth and others like them. The old journalism standards at places like the NYT, Wash Post, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, et al, are dead as a can of corn beef. They are nothing but left-wing propagandists, and pretty piss poor ones at that. Nothing that comes from what passes for “mainstream media” or “drive by media” has a fecal cell of credibility any more.

Just found out via American Thinker than YouTube and Warner Music took down the video! Does anyone have a saved copy they can put up? We need to keep this one going!

Peg C. — No luck. Hopefully, the video guy will resubmit with some different music SOON!

Quite the sensationalist video. Unfortunately, this is so slanted it may tip the axis of the earth.
The truth is that there’s enough blame to go around everywhere. Factcheck.org recently released an article about “who is to blame”, and I think that you should give it an honest read.

Obiwan — Obviously, “The Force” isn’t with you. Factcheck.org is funded by Annenberg, rendering all of their research and opinions MOOT!
